When you apply for a licensed promoter's licence, you must do a few things after you lodge your application with the Secretary. You have to send a copy of your application to a senior constable in the area where you live, or where your company is based if you are a company. You also have to put a notice about your application in a newspaper that the Secretary approves, and you have to do this twice, with the notices at least 14 days apart.
