Illustration for Gambling Act 2003

When you are in a casino, the casino must display information about each game at the gaming table. This information includes that you can ask for a copy of the game rules, the minimum and maximum amounts you can bet, and how you will get paid if you win. The casino must make a copy of the game rules available to you right away if you ask for one.

If you want to know the rules of a game, you can ask the casino staff and they must give you a copy to look at. The casino has to follow these rules, and if they do not, they can get a fine of up to $5,000.

The casino must tell you how the game is played and what the rules are, so you can make informed decisions about your bets.
