“Rules about measuring how well local councils work have been removed”
This part of the law used to talk about the status of rules for performance measures in local government. However, it has been removed from the law. The government decided to take it out on 28 October 2021. This means these rules no longer apply, and you don’t need to follow them anymore.
If you want to know more about why this change happened, you can look at section 3 of the Secondary Legislation Act 2021. This section explains the reasons for removing these rules.
