Regulatory, enforcement, and coercive powers of local authorities - Powers of local authorities to make bylaws - Review of bylaws made under this Act or the Local Government Act 1974

159: Further reviews of bylaws every 10 years

You could also call this:

“Checking bylaws every 10 years to make sure they're still useful”

You need to review a bylaw that your local authority has made every 10 years. This applies to bylaws made under the Local Government Act 2002, the Maritime Transport Act 1994, or the Local Government Act 1974. You must do this review no later than 10 years after the last time it was reviewed under section 158 or this section. This ensures that the bylaws are kept up to date and still serve their purpose.
