Local Government Act 2002

Planning, decision-making, and accountability - Planning and decision-making - Consultation

83AA: Summary of information

You could also call this:

“Making a fair summary of plans to share with people”

When you want to tell people about a plan or idea, you need to make a summary. This summary needs to be fair and include all the important parts of the full plan. You can choose how you want to present this summary.

Your summary should tell people where they can find the full plan if they want to read it. You also need to let people know how long they have to share their thoughts about the plan with you.

Remember, this summary is meant to help people understand the main points of your plan quickly and easily.
