Local Government Act 2002

Regulatory, enforcement, and coercive powers of local authorities - Development contributions - Development agreements

207F: Amendment or termination of development agreement

You could also call this:

“Making changes to or ending an agreement about building things”

You can change a development agreement if everyone who signed it agrees to the changes. This can happen at any time.

A development agreement can end in three ways:

  1. On a specific date that’s written in the agreement.
  2. When everyone has done everything they promised to do in the agreement.
  3. On a date that all the people who signed the agreement choose together and write down.
