258E: How Crown Manager appointed

You could also call this:

“How the government picks someone to help fix problems in local councils”

When the Minister decides to appoint a Crown Manager, they must do so by writing a notice. This notice needs to include some important information.

First, the notice must explain the Crown Manager’s job. This includes describing the problem they’re meant to help with and what they’re allowed to do.

Second, the notice must say when the Crown Manager will start and finish their job.

Finally, the notice must specify the dates for the management period. This is the time when the Crown Manager will be actively working on the problem.

All of this information helps everyone understand why the Crown Manager is there, what they’re supposed to do, and how long they’ll be doing it for.
