259I: Application of Legislation Act 2019 to standards incorporated by reference

You could also call this:

“Some special rules don't apply to certain financial standards used in local government”

The law says that some special rules don’t apply to financial reporting standards used in certain regulations. These special rules are found in Subpart 1 of Part 3 and section 114 of the Legislation Act 2019. They don’t apply just because the financial reporting standards are included in regulations made under section 259(1)(dc) of the Local Government Act 2002. This means that even though these standards are part of the regulations, they are treated differently from other parts of the law.
