When you are part of a family group conference, the care and protection co-ordinator has a job to do. They must find out what you think about the matters being discussed if you cannot attend the conference. This might be because you are not allowed to attend, or because you have told the co-ordinator you are unable to attend for some reason. The co-ordinator must look at section 22(1) to see who is excluded from attending the conference. If the co-ordinator finds out what you think, they must make sure your views are shared at the conference.
