Youth justice - Disposal of proceedings in Youth Court

291: Transfer of other charges to District Court or High Court for sentence

Illustration for Oranga Tamariki Act 1989

If you are in the Youth Court and the court makes a special order about a charge against you, they can also make the same order about other charges against you. This can happen if the court has the power to make that order under section 283 for those other charges. The court can do this even if section 290 says something different.
