200Court to ensure that application for care or protection order dealt with promptly

  1. Where an application is made to the court for a care or protection order, the court shall, so far as it is practicable, give priority to the proceedings in order to ensure that, unless there are special reasons why a longer period is required, the hearing of the application commences not later than 60 days after the application is filed in the court.
