The chief executive or a social service can place you in the care of someone they think is suitable. This person will look after you and make sure you are safe. You will be in their charge if you are a child or young person who is already in the care or custody of the chief executive or a social service, and they think this new person can provide for your care, control, and upbringing, as long as they follow the rules in sections like sections 43, 81, 104, and 114(2)(c).
