Illustration for Oranga Tamariki Act 1989

When you go to the Youth Court, the court tries to arrange things so that you do not meet people from other courts. The court also tries to make sure that children and young people do not spend too much time together while waiting for their hearing. Additionally, the court tries to reduce the time parents have to wait together in the same area before their case is heard.
