75: Counsellor to arrange meeting and submit report on outcome

When a direction is made under section 74(1), you will meet with a counsellor. The counsellor will either arrange to meet with you or ask you to come to a meeting at a certain time and place. This meeting is for counselling.

75Counsellor to arrange meeting and submit report on outcome

  1. Where a direction is made under section 74(1), the counsellor who is to undertake the counselling shall—

  2. arrange to meet the person or persons in respect of whom the direction is given; or
    1. by letter sent by post request that person or those persons to attend before the counsellor at a specified time and place—
      1. for the purpose of the counselling.

      2. As soon as practicable after a direction is made under section 74, the person undertaking the counselling pursuant to that direction shall submit a written report to the court on the outcome of that counselling.
