Illustration for Oranga Tamariki Act 1989

If you are involved in a court case about a plan for a child or young person, the court will look at a report about the plan. The court will then decide what to do next, and if the plan needs to keep going, they will set a date to review it again. This review will look at a revised plan that was sent with the report.

The court will follow rules, like those in section 134, to decide when and who will review the revised plan. When the court sets a date for the review, they will use the same rules that applied to the original plan, as outlined in sections 135 to 137, and section 128.

The court will keep using these rules for every revised plan, as if it were a new plan, to make sure the child or young person gets the support they need.
