207ZF: Revocation of registration

You could also call this:

"When a court can cancel a protection order's registration to keep someone safe."

If you apply to the court under section 207ZD, the court can cancel the registration of a protection order. This can happen if the court is satisfied that when the order was registered, it was being appealed, reviewed, or put on hold. The court can also cancel the registration if the time to appeal or review the order had not run out. You can think of a protection order like a special kind of help to keep someone safe. The court's decision to cancel the registration does not stop the order from being registered again later.
