When you are in court for certain types of cases, like those under Part 2, Part 3A, or section 371 of the Oranga Tamariki Act 1989, there are rules about what can be published in a report about the case. These rules are the same as those in sections 11B to 11D of the Family Court Act 1980. If your case is in the Family Court, these rules apply directly.

If your case is in a different court, the rules still apply, but they are adapted to fit that court. This means that when the rules talk about the Family Court, they really mean the court where your case is being heard. You can find more information about these rules in the Family Court Act 1980.
