Oranga Tamariki Act 1989

Care and protection of children and young persons - Support orders

99: Person or organisation providing support to child or young person to report to court

You could also call this:

"Telling the court how support for a child or young person is working"

Illustration for Oranga Tamariki Act 1989

If you are providing support to a child or young person because of a direction made under section 91, you must give the court a written report. You have to do this after the time period stated in the order has ended. Your report must include an assessment of how well the order has worked.

You also need to describe how the child or young person has responded to the support. You must give any other information that you think is relevant. This report helps the court understand what is happening with the child or young person.
