If you are a New Zealand person and you want to donate more than $1,500 to a party without telling them who you are, you can do this in a special way. You can send the donation to the Electoral Commission by direct credit to their bank account. You must include a statement with the donation that says which party is getting the money, your full name and address, and whether you are a New Zealand person. If your donation includes money from other people, you must also provide the same information for each of those people who gave more than $1,500.
