65Parties with certain names not to be registered

  1. The Electoral Commission shall refuse an application for the registration of a political party if, in its opinion, the name of the party or any proposed abbreviation—

  2. is indecent or offensive; or
    1. is excessively long; or
      1. is likely to cause confusion or mislead electors; or
        1. contains any reference to a title or honour or similar form of identification.
