If you are charged with doing something wrong, called a corrupt practice, you might be found guilty of doing something else wrong, called an illegal practice. You can be found guilty of an illegal practice if the situation shows that is what happened. You can also be found guilty of an illegal practice even if what you did was so bad it could be considered a corrupt practice.
