You want to be a registered promoter for election advertising. You must apply to the Electoral Commission. If you are a person, you apply yourself. You must fill out the form the Electoral Commission requires. The form needs your name, address, phone numbers, and email address. If you are not a person, the form needs the name, address, phone numbers, and email address of the person applying for you. If you are a company or trust, the form needs the names of the people in charge. You must also provide proof that the person applying has the authority to do so. You can find more information by looking at the Electoral Act 1993 and the Electoral Amendment Act 2025.
