If you are a party secretary, you must give the Electoral Commission a return of expenses within 90 days after polling day for a general election. This return must include details of the amount of the party's allocation and all accounts sent to the Electoral Commission under section 80B(1) of the Broadcasting Act 1989. You must use a form approved by the Electoral Commission to file this return.

The return you file must also include details of how the party's allocation was spent, as shown in the accounts sent to the Electoral Commission. You will need to get an auditor's report, which is obtained under section 206LA, to accompany your return.

You must make sure your return is complete and accurate, and that it is filed with the Electoral Commission on time.
