71ETimes when registration of party logos prohibited

  1. No action may be taken in relation to an application for the registration of a party logo during the period that,—

  2. in relation to a general election,—
    1. begins with the commencement of the regulated period for a general election; and
      1. ends with the close of the latest day for the return of the writ for that general election:
      2. in relation to a by-election,—
        1. begins with the commencement of the regulated period for the by-election; and
          1. ends with the close of the latest day for the return of the writ for the by-election.
