Illustration for Electoral Act 1993

You are part of a political party in New Zealand. Your party has rules about who can be a member and how to choose candidates for elections. If your party changes these rules, you must give a copy of the changes to the Electoral Commission. You have one month to do this after the changes are agreed on by your party. The Electoral Commission needs to know about any changes to your party's rules.
