214: Offence to enter into unauthorised loan

You could also call this:

Illustration for Electoral Act 1993

If you enter into a loan that is not allowed, you can be guilty of a corrupt practice if you do it on purpose and break the rules in section 213. You can also be guilty of an illegal practice if you break the rules in section 213 but it was not on purpose. This means you have to follow the rules about loans to avoid getting in trouble.
