If the Electoral Commission changes some details about you on the electoral roll, they must tell you. They can change your address if you move to a new house in the same area. They can also change your name or other details, like the ones mentioned in section 83(2)(d), (g), or (h). 94AConfirmation of change of name, address, or other particulars

  1. This section applies if the Electoral Commission, in accordance with this Act, amends, in relation to any person whose name appears on the roll, any of the following particulars:

  2. the place of residence of the person, following a change of residence within an electoral district; or
    1. the name of the person; or
      1. any other particulars of a kind specified in section 83(2)(d), (g), or (h).

        1. The Electoral Commission must, not later than 14 days after the roll is amended, deliver to that person personally, or send to that person by post, notice in writing of the amendment of the particulars on the roll.
