The register has two main purposes for you. It helps you find out if a person is a registered promoter and where they are based. It also helps you see if an election advertisement is from a registered promoter.

The register is used to help enforce the rules in this part of the law. This means it assists with making sure people follow the rules about election advertising. You can use the register to get information about registered promoters and their advertisements.
