If you are a constable, you must help the Electoral Commission when they ask for it. You have to tell them the names of people you think should be on the electoral roll but are not, or people who are on the roll but should not be. You also have to give the Electoral Commission any information they request about someone's qualifications to be on the electoral roll. You must assist the Electoral Commission by making inquiries and getting information they request. The Electoral Commission is the group in charge of making sure elections in New Zealand are fair and honest, and they need your help to do their job.
