82: Corporation may provide other social rehabilitation

You could also call this:

"ACC can give extra help for your recovery if you need it"

The Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) can provide you with extra help for your social rehabilitation. This is in addition to the usual support they offer. They can do this if you need it because of your injury, and if you've been assessed as needing it. The ACC will check if this extra help fits the purpose of social rehabilitation, if it's necessary and appropriate, and if it's the kind of help usually given by rehabilitation providers. They'll also make sure it's included in your personal rehabilitation plan if you have one. The ACC has to follow specific rules when deciding to give you this extra help. These rules are set out in the law.
