89: Assessment of claimant's vocational rehabilitation needs

You could also call this:

"Checking what help you need to return to work after an injury"

When you need help getting back to work after an injury, someone will check what you need. This check has two parts.

First, they look at what kind of jobs you might be able to do. They think about your skills and what you're good at to find work that could suit you.

Then, a doctor checks if these jobs are okay for your health. They want to make sure the work won't hurt you or make your injury worse. The doctor decides if you can do these jobs now, or if you might be able to do them in the future when you're feeling better.

This two-step check helps figure out the right kind of work for you that's safe for your body.
