95: Conduct of initial medical assessment

When a medical assessor does an initial medical assessment, they need to look at several things. The Corporation will give them information, which they must consider. They also need to think about any medical reports the Corporation asked for before making the individual rehabilitation plan, as well as any other important medical reports. The assessor will read the report from the occupational assessor about the initial occupational assessment. They will examine you in person too. If you want the medical assessor to consider any other information, you can ask them to do so, and they will decide if it's relevant.

The medical assessor also needs to think about any health conditions you have that aren't related to your personal injury. This helps them get a full picture of your health.

The Corporation has to give the medical assessor all the relevant information they have about your initial medical assessment. This makes sure the assessor has everything they need to do a thorough job.
