Accident Compensation Act 2001

Transitional provisions relating to entitlements provided by Corporation (but not under Part 10) - Entitlements arising from fatal injuries

385: Compensation payable to children and other dependants under 1972 and 1982 Acts

You could also call this:

"Money for children and families when someone died before 2002"

If someone died before 1 April 2002, and their child or other dependant was getting money because of that death, they can keep getting that money. This rule comes from an older law called the Accident Insurance Act 1998. It's still in effect even though there's a new law now.
