Accident Compensation Act 2001

Management of the Scheme - Accredited employers

183: Framework to be established

You could also call this:

"ACC and employers must make a plan to help injured workers"

The Minister must create a plan that allows the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) and an employer to agree on how the employer will take care of their employees if they get hurt at work. This plan must follow the rules set out in sections 181 to 189 of the law. The Minister can change or replace this plan after talking to the right people. This plan is a type of law that needs to be published in a special way. If there was already a plan like this before this new law came into effect, that old plan will still work under the new law.
