Accident Compensation Act 2001

Entitlements and related matters - Vocational rehabilitation

88: Vocational rehabilitation may start or resume if circumstances change

You could also call this:

"You can get help to return to work again if your injury situation changes"

The Corporation can decide if your situation has changed and if you need vocational rehabilitation again. If they think things have changed, you and the Corporation can agree to change your rehabilitation plan.

If you had vocational rehabilitation before and got a job because of it, but you can't keep working because of your injury or illness, the Corporation might start your rehabilitation again. They would use your rehabilitation plan, with any changes you both agreed on.

The Corporation can do this at any time, but they have to follow some rules about how long they can provide vocational rehabilitation.
