122A: Exemption from section 122(1)

You could also call this:

"The Minister can make special exceptions to a rule for unusual cases"

The Minister has the power to make an exception for you from a rule in section 122(1). This can happen if the Minister thinks your situation is very unusual and special. However, you can't ask for this exception yourself. The Minister decides on their own if they want to give you this special treatment.
