Cover for personal injury suffered before 1 April 2002

358Claim for cover lodged on or after 1 July 1999 but not yet determined if injury suffered on or after 1 July 1992 but before 1 April 2002

  1. Subsection (2) applies to a claim for cover for personal injury that—

  2. is for personal injury suffered on or after 1 July 1992 but before 1 April 2002; and
    1. is lodged with the Corporation on or after 1 July 1999 but before 1 April 2002; and
      1. is not determined before 1 April 2002.

        1. A claimant has cover under this Act only if the claimant would have had cover under the Accident Insurance Act 1998.
