“Minister must consider everyone's needs when making decisions”

When the Minister makes decisions or uses their powers under this law or the Crown Entities Act 2004, they must think about what’s best for everyone. This means they need to consider what’s good for the people who pay taxes, the people who pay levies, the people who make claims, and the people who might make claims in the future. The Minister has to balance all these different interests to make sure they’re doing what’s best for New Zealand as a whole.
