Illustration for Telecommunications Act 2001

When the Commission thinks other people, not just the ones involved, have a big interest in the issue, they must do something. They have to either talk to those people or hold a meeting about the issue before making a decision under section 27. You can think of the Commission as a group that helps make decisions about telecommunications, and they want to make sure they hear from everyone who might be affected.
