You need to apply a relevant input methodology when supplying fibre fixed line access services. You must do this in accordance with the relevant section 170 determination. The Commission also applies the input methodology when deciding how to regulate fibre fixed line access services. You apply the methodology when the Commission recommends or decides things like prices or quality standards for fibre fixed line access services. The Commission uses the input methodology to make decisions about fibre fixed line access services. This helps the Commission make fair decisions. The input methodology is used to regulate fibre fixed line access services in New Zealand. You can find more information about the legislation on the New Zealand legislation website.
