The Commission can review the standard terms determination at any time. They can change or replace it if they think it is necessary after the review. You can find out more about what the Commission can do in a review by looking at the rules they have to follow.

The Commission gets to decide how and when to do the review. They have to talk to all the parties involved, give public notice that they are starting the review, and tell people when they can make submissions. After the review, the Commission has to tell the public what they decided.

If the Commission makes changes or replaces the standard terms determination, it is considered secondary legislation, which has its own publication requirements, as outlined in Part 3 of the Legislation Act 2019.
