Illustration for Telecommunications Act 2001

The Commission has to do some things after they finish with the requirements under section 45 or after they get an application under section 42. You will get to see what they decide because they have to prepare a draft pricing review determination. They then give a copy of this draft to the people involved and tell the public about it.

The Commission tells the public about the draft pricing review determination by giving public notice. This notice includes the date by which people can make submissions, which is no later than 30 working days after the draft determination is published. You can find more information about this process in section 45, subpart 1 of Part 2 of Schedule 1, and section 42.

The Commission has to follow these steps as soon as they can after they finish with the requirements or get the application. They have to give people a chance to see the draft pricing review determination and make submissions before they make a final decision.
