Telecommunications Act 2001

Designated services and specified services - Determinations for designated access services and specified services - Notification

24: Commission must notify parties

You could also call this:

"The Commission must tell everyone involved about your application and give them a copy."

Illustration for Telecommunications Act 2001

When you make an application under section 23, the Commission gets it. The Commission must then tell the parties involved that they have received your application. They will do this by sending them a written notice.

The Commission will also send a copy of your application to the other party involved. This is so everyone knows what is happening. They want to make sure all parties have the same information.

The Commission will ask the parties to comment on the matter in writing. You have to send your comments to the Commission within 10 working days of getting their notice. This gives you time to think about what you want to say.
