When the Minister approves an undertaking, it is notified in accordance with section 156AI(5). You can think of this undertaking as a special kind of agreement that is like a deed. This deed is properly executed by, and binding on, the LFC, which means the LFC has to follow the rules in the deed. The undertaking is given in favour of the Crown, which means it is done for the benefit of the government. This all happens from the date the Minister's approval is notified.
