Illustration for Telecommunications Act 2001

When the Commission starts a process for a designated multinetwork service determination under section 31AA or gets an application made according to section 33, it must do a few things. You will get a written notice if you are a party to the determination, telling you that the process has started or that an application has been received. The Commission will also ask you to comment on the matter in writing within 10 working days of getting the notice.

If an application is made according to section 33, the Commission must give a copy of the application to all access providers of the service. This is so everyone involved knows what is happening. You will have a chance to say what you think about the application.

The Commission wants to hear from you, so it will ask you to send your comments in writing. You need to do this within 10 working days of getting the notice from the Commission.
