136Notice requirement

  1. Except as provided in section 139, before a network operator proceeds to open or break up any road, the network operator must give notice of the intention to carry out the work to—

  2. the local authority or other person who has jurisdiction over the road; and
    1. any utility operator (as defined in section 4 of the Utilities Access Act 2010) whose pipes, lines, or other structures will or are likely to be affected by the work.
      1. Every notice must specify the location of the proposed work, the nature of the work to be carried out, and the reasons for it.
