Illustration for Telecommunications Act 2001

When you make an application under section 43, the Commission gets it. The Commission must then tell the parties involved that they have received your application. They also give a copy of your application to the other parties.

The Commission asks the parties to comment on the matter in writing within 10 working days. They send this request to the parties after they have received the application. The Commission also tells the public about your application.

The Commission does all this after they get your application made under section 43. You will know what is happening because the Commission informs the parties and the public. The Commission follows these steps when they receive an application.
