262Permits for dumping waste or other matter

  1. The Director may, in accordance with section 270 and the marine protection rules, issue permits authorising the dumping of any waste or other matter (including ships, aircraft, or offshore installations) from a New Zealand ship, or a New Zealand aircraft, beyond New Zealand continental waters.
