Maritime Transport Act 1994

Salvage

219: Apportionment between salvors

You could also call this:

"How salvors share the money they are owed for helping in a rescue at sea"

If you are owed money for helping in a salvage operation and you are not the only one who should get paid, the money will be divided among you. The court will decide how to divide the money, thinking about what is fair according to the Convention. You can find more information about this by looking at the Maritime Transport Act 1994 and the Convention that the court uses to make its decision.
