326Proof of identity

  1. Any person exercising any power conferred by section 305 shall—

  2. carry, and produce if requested to do so, evidence of his or her identity; and
    1. if requested to do so, produce evidence of, or give a general explanation of, the authority under which he or she is acting and the powers he or she is exercising.
